Bereavement, a term often associated with grief and loss, is the experience that occurs when someone close to an individual, such a family member, a partner or a pet, passes away. Bereavement will affect different people in different ways; there is no right or wrong way to feel. It is normal to feel both physical and/ or emotional symptoms and these may impact you on varying levels of intensity and may appear unexpectedly.
