Virtual School Education Administration Officer

Term time only + 3 weeks (41 weeks)

Opportunity

We are looking to a appoint a dynamic practitioner to assist with the development and day to day running of our Virtual school. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional experienced in working with young people, to try something different, fulfilling and rewarding. The ideal candidate will have experience of school enrolment procedures, tracking and monitoring attendance and progress; liaising with relevant school staff across the Trust and communicating with parents/carers and students. The candidate would be confident in communicating with the whole school community.

 

We are seeking someone who is passionate about supporting children with complex lives and willing to inspire our students to achieve their maximum potential. Our ideal candidate would be able to stick to deadlines, think on their feet, be hardworking, supportive of staff and the team around the students and have an approachable and friendly manner. An understanding of safeguarding and liaising with safeguarding agencies is desirable. The position will be based at The Netherhall School, Cambridge.

FINANCE OFFICER

Required as soon as possible

Hours Negotiable within the hours of 8.00am to 4.30pm
Monday to Friday
39 weeks per annum

 

 

Opportunity

We are seeking to appoint a competent individual who is numerate, with good IT skills and an eye for attention to detail to support our Finance Manager.  The successful candidate will work with the Finance Manager to provide an efficient financial administration service. An example of the tasks required to be completed would include the processing of invoices, using the School’s ordering system and supporting and maintaining the application of the school’s parent payment system.  You must also have clear and effective communication skills and enjoy working in a busy environment supporting the smooth running of the school’s finance operations.  If you would like an informal chat with the School’s Finance Manager please email finance@netherhallschool.org to arrange a mutually convenient time.
