GCSE Results 2020 & 2021
In line with government guidance we have not published data for the exam series in 2020-21 as this was disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic. All students successfully transitioned to further education, training or employment.
GCSE Results 2019
It is with huge pleasure that I can announce that the results for Netherhall School have improved once again this year, with an increase in the Attainment 8 measure to 49.13.
Students are now able to make the all-important decisions as to which course, apprenticeship or training they will be moving onto. We anticipate that many will choose to stay at The Oakes College, which has just published excellent results for A-levels, with 99.6% of students achieving A*-E grades across a range of academic and applied subjects and all of our students going on to one of their first-choice destinations at university, a high-quality apprenticeship, or have already secured employment. 68% of our students attained English and Maths grades at 4 or above, far above the national average. Our Progress 8, a measure of how well each student has done relative to where they are predicted to do was 0.14, the national average is 0, and this represents both an improvement for the school, but also means every student attained significantly above their target grades here at Netherhall, which means they have more choices for 6th form progression.

Innovative teaching methods, a commitment to an inspiring curriculum and tailored individual approaches have allowed us to improve year on year. Our students have again shown that they are a match for anyone with some nationally outstanding performances.
We would like to congratulate all our students and wish them the very best of luck for the future. We look forward to welcoming a fresh cohort of year 7s to Netherhall in September and many of our fantastic Year 11s back to The Oakes College.
